Our Safari Extreme is our green thinking, self reliant, luxury expedition vehicle that can go to places that a typical 4×4 RV could only dream of going.
Global Expedition Vehicles are much more than an extreme off-road RV. Whether you have a journey or destination in mind, our vehicles are designed and built for self-reliant travel to remote parts of the globe. With our Expedition Vehicles, count on engineering that will withstand treacherous off-road routes and extreme weather conditions.
GXV’s self-contained, redundant utilities give you freedom to explore anywhere in the world and be totally self-reliant in unfamiliar territories. We also equip our Expedition Vehicles with dual electrical systems for world travel. This allows your Expedition RV to be plugged into power anywhere in the world, 120v or 240v in the rare event you require additional power.
Our 4wd camper when built on a Mercedes Unimog chassis can burn any mix of diesel fuel including High or Low Sulfur diesel, and/or bio-diesel found in the world, making this expedition vehicle a TRULY go-everywhere vehicle. Please read the info on ULSD
All GXV off-road RV’s are built with marine grade materials and components, which are superior to the usual 4×4 motor homes standards. With GXV quality, the ruggedness of back-road travel will not transfer into the interior of our off-road camper. Overlanders will find the style and comfort of the Safari Extreme to rival the highest end motor coaches. Marble flooring, granite counter tops and beautiful hand crafted woodwork are just some of the options. There is no sacrifice with the Safari Extreme.
The Safari Extreme is generally built on a Unimog chassis with features such as: portal axles, coil springs, front-center-rear locking differentials, 20 plus inches of ground clearance and an incredible 31.5 foot turning radius. GXV builds the Safari Extreme model on other premium chassis’ as well. International, Freightliner and Western Star may be other names you recognize.
